New Gloucester based DuraBike is donating 10% of all sales of its Lumenux bike to BCM. This Class III e-bike (Class I option available) is a unique commuter e-bike built for long-term reliability, low maintenance, and maximum rider comfort. According to the BCM staff riders, it is a super fun ride too.
The Lumenex is equipped with serviceable front suspension, 27.5×2.4″ tires, 20mm riser bars, Ergon grips and saddle for comfort. Aside from the premium NeoDrive ebike system, all components are industry standards, which allows any local bike shop to perform routine maintenance or replace components.

How it works:
Place your orders through Ernie’s Cycle Shop (207-854-4090) where you will also pick up your bike. (105 Conant St, Westbrook, ME) Orders are fulfilled as they are received, and take about six weeks for fulfillment. Orders received on or around January 1, 2025 are expected to be delivered no later than March 1, 2025.
Color options: Prismatic Cosmos, Peacock Sapphire, or BCM limited edition Bronze Chrome, which comes with polished silver wheels and components
Other Specs: DuraBike replaces the chain and cassette with a sealed gearbox transmission and carbon fiber belt. The German-made electric motor systems and batteries provide Class I (18mph) and Class III (28mph) power and range up to 90 miles per charge. The high range is achieved thanks to the direct-drive motor and precision wound coils. Pinion gearboxes are available in 6 or 12 speeds, and manual or electronic shifting. All of this adds up to a supremely fun and worry-free ride. The best and sometimes most challenging aspect of placing an order is selecting your own custom color.
