Events for March 29 - April 20
The Bicycle Coalition of Maine stays busy with events all year round to connect with as many pedestrians and people on bikes as possible in a variety of ways. We seek to educate adults and children about bike/ped safety through presentations and courses, host interactive demonstrations that advocate for improvements to bike/ped infrastructure, provide valet bike parking at local events, and organize gatherings and group rides to raise awareness and enthusiasm about our mission.
To see what the BCM is up to this year, check out our 2024 Event & Program Guide!
The event calendar below lists our upcoming events and those hosted by our partners and supporters. Check it out, and join us as we strive to make Maine better for biking and walking!
Webinar- Vision Zero
What if we could eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries, while increasing safe, healthy, equitable mobility for all? This is the premise behind Vision Zero, a strategy to change how we approach and think about safety and improving our roadway environment. Vision Zero brings together a range of stakeholders to address issues of safety, encouraging collaboration among local traffic planners and engineers, policymakers, and public health professionals.
