White Mountain Century

$28The White Mountain Century climbs through four mountain passes in the White Mountain National Forest in central New Hampshire. It starts at the Covered Bridge Campground on the Kancamagus Highway (Rt 112), 10 miles from Rt 16. Riders climb up through Bear Notch and plunge down into Bartlett. The route then climbs through scenic Crawford Notch in the shadow of Mt Washington, and turns west toward Twin Mountain. A ride down through Franconia Notch on the beautiful Franconia Notch Bike Path is followed by a 13-mile climb up the Kancamagus to the notch at 2160 feet and a thrilling return to the Covered Bridge Campground.
There are four food stops on the ride and sag wagon support. Tasty, refreshing shrimp cocktail awaits you at the finish! Rain or shine ride. FMI, Jayne Merrill – wmc@cascobaybicycleclub.org.
Registration/start runs from 7:00 – 7:30 AM (note the location of the start/end point on the map below).
Cell service is unreliable in the White Mountains. Riders are advised to plan accordingly!
