This past November, our Associate Education Director Erik daSilva was invited to take part in Partners of the Americas, a two-way network of volunteer partnerships that foster cultural exchange and education between the U.S. and Latin American countries. The states of Maine and Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil) are partners, and bicycle advocacy and education were the focus of Erik’s ten day visit. Join Erik and BCM to discover what bicycling looks like in Brazil and how our southern partners are working to make their communities better places to walk and bike — just like the BCM!
