Portland Wheelers: “35 in 35!”

Our mission is “Outdoor Adapted Biking Fun for People with Disabilities.” Our volunteer pedalers, or “pilots,” help connect Greater Portland’s elderly, youth, veterans, and visually impaired – anyone living with disability, dementia, or debilitating disease – with the community at large. We give the gift of bicycling – on uniquely designed tricycles – to people who, until now, could only dream of “going for a ride.” We would love your support as a volunteer, committee member, or funder. To purchase these tricycles, a trailer for transport, various equipment, and money for our first year of programming, please help us raise $35,000 in 35 days, from March 27^th – April 30^th.
