New England Parkinson’s Ride

The New England Parkinson’s Ride is an annual fundraising event for The Michael J Fox Foundation.  It was started in 2008 by the Woods Family, when son/brother/husband/father Chris Woods was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease at the age of 41.  100% of the money raised by cyclists goes directly to the Michael J Fox Foundation and each cyclist must commit to raising a minimum of $100.  There is also a $45 registration fee that is used for the operational expenses of the ride.  Since there are 4 routes to choose from, the ride is open to cyclists of all ages and abilities.   Please check us out on Facebook and our website, then come join the fun!
