Lewiston: Ride of Silence

Please join the Maine Cycling Club as we host a Ride of Silence on May 15th at 6 PM. The ride will commence from Geiger Elementary School off College Street in Lewiston and make a short 6.3 mile loop. Check out the route details here.
We are working with local agencies for both publicity and traffic management to attract as many participants as possible, so please bring your children, your neighbors, and your friends to participate in what has become a global movement. The mission of the world wide Ride of Silence is to honor bicyclists killed by motorists, promote sharing the road, and provide awareness of bicycling safety. During this ride of silence, we would also like to honor all of our cycling friends who have died. It will be a 6 – 10 mile ride at < 10 mph done in silence. We would like to get together after the ride.
