We’re taking the Ultimate Cycling Experience WAY up north! Escape the summer heat and join George Hincapie for an unforgettable ride in Bangor, ME. Experience the region’s rolling hills, open countryside, and charming coastal villages as you complete your challenge of 80, 52, or 15 miles. Then follow that up with our signature Gran Fondo Hincapie Family Festival complete with free food and beverage for you and your family after you roll across the red carpet at the finish line. This will be one ride you won’t want to miss! Stunning views, challenging climbs, fast descents, and picturesque views await our Gran cyclists! 80 miles, 2 timed segments, and epic views of the Penobscot River and Bay! Gran riders will venture out onto the best roads that the Greater Bangor Region has to offer paired with the renowned hospitality of Gran Fondo Hincapie. This is the Ultimate Cycling Experience for the rider looking for their next adventure, challenge, and a taste of Maine during the summer! 8:00AM Friday, June 21st – Packet Pickup & Onsite Registration – 2:00PM – 6:00PM Bangor Waterfront Front St, Bangor, ME Ride Starts – Start corrals will open promptly at 7:00AM. All riders must be in their corrals no later than 7:45AM. Final Packet Pickup and Registration 6:00 – 7:30am Bangor Waterfront Front St, Bangor, ME 04401 Ride starts at 8:00am! Family Fun Fest & Expo – 11am – 5pm Awards – 3:30pm Plan to arrive extra early in case there is a line. You will need time to park and ride your bike to the start. On site registration will shut down promptly at 7:30 to allow the timing company a chance to get the final database synced over in time for the start. If you pre-registered for Gran Fondo Hincapie Bangor, you’ll need to pick up your packet to get everything you need for the big day—plus a few extras from our great sponsors. On-site registration is available for last-minute decision-makers as well. We’ll have event merchandise available for purchase, as well as giveaways, displays, and samples from our awesome partners.
