East Coast Greenway Lewiston Bike Festival

Join the East Coast Greenway Alliance & Rainbow Bicycle for the 2nd Annual East Coast Greenway Lewiston Bike Festival. This is a fun ride intended for beginner/moderate cyclists. Experienced cyclists are welcome but warned that we will be traveling at touring speed. The ride includes both 30 and 60 mile loop options, a scavenger hunt & prizes from local businesses, and experienced ride leaders & mechanics.  
Starting at Rainbow Bicycle in downtown Lewiston, we’ll follow the East Coast Greenway (ECG) to Lisbon Falls. Those who opt for the 30 mile route will turn around and loop back to Lewiston, enjoying quiet, local roads. The 60 mile group will continue following ECG into downtown Brunswick.  The group will stop in Brunswick with ample opportunity to explore the town and grab a bite to eat before heading back to Lewiston for the evening hot air balloon launch at the Great Falls Lewiston/Auburn Balloon Festival. Anyone who volunteers to help with Rainbow Bicycle’s Balloon Festival Criterium will be eligible for free registration on Saturday’s ride. Volunteers will be needed on Sunday for course marshals, registration/check-in, set-up, etc. As we get closer to the date a link to the volunteer sign up sheet will be posted on the registration site.
