E-bike Demos – Greater Bangor Area

The Bicycle Coalition of Maine’s E-Bike Demo Program will be in the Bangor region Thurs-Fri 9/28-29 — Our 1 hour demo sessions offers folks a chance to test the utility & recreational riding opportunities e-bikes offer and will incorporate:
— Downtown/urban riding (more so at the Brewer workshop)
— Using e-bikes to travel longer distances
— Examples of good infrastructure vs bad features + ways to make improvements
— Methods of encouraging residents to use e-bikes
Two workshops are available. We can provide 10 demo e-bikes and host a max of 15 participants/workshop (5 people would bring their own bike, electric-assist or not). These workshops are FREE! Available workshops are listed below. Please REGISTER HERE.

This is a great opportunity to share how bicycles (e- or not) can be a climate action solution and highlight how they can be used to replace short car trips.
