Yarmouth Ride of Silence

The Casco Bay Bicycle Club is hosting a Ride of Silence, where all people on bikes are encouraged to participate in a 5.5 mile slow ride, in a silent procession, to honor fellow cyclists who have been killed or injured while riding on public roadways. Although cyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists, the motoring public often isn’t aware of these rights, and sometimes not aware of the cyclists themselves. The ride will begin promptly at 7 p.m. at the south end of the Hannaford parking lot in Yarmouth. Please arrive by 6:45 p.m., sign the rider liability form, and be ready to ride at 7 p.m. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
