Casco Bay Bicycling Club Bailey Island Ride

FreeThe Bailey Island ride is on. This replaces the regular Saturday ride out of West Falmouth.
Due to several requests we will do the ride in reverse of past years. We will ride to Bailey Island, have lunch, then take the ferry to Portland. The total distance is about 50 miles. The ferry leaves at 2 PM and arrives in Portland at 3:45 PM. This is an all day affair.
We will start at the Northgate Shopping Center in the parking lot to the right of Shaw’s (as you face Shaw’s) at 8:00 AM for those who live nearby. We will ride (about 10 miles) to the Hannaford shopping center on Route 1 in Yarmouth, where we will meet up with those who live in the Yarmouth area. We will meet in the far left side of the parking lot as you face Hannaford (usual starting location for the Wednesday evening weekly ride). We will leave Yarmouth for Bailey Island (about 30 miles) at 9:00 AM. We should arrive by noon for lunch, then leave on the 2:00 PM ferry.
After the ferry ride, people return home individually if they like, or in groups back to either Northgate Shopping Center or Yarmouth.
Ride sheets will be available at each starting point.
