Bicycle Traffic Skills 101 course

$15This is a fast-paced class, taught by the Bicycle Coalition of Maine, that will give you the confidence to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail. You will learn how to conduct bicycle safety checks, fix a flat, on-bike skills and crash avoidance techniques.
We recommend this class for adults and children over 14 (must be accompanied by a parent). Students will need a bike in good operating condition, helmet, water, snack and appropriate clothing.
The class will be held rain or shine. Be prepared to ride about 5 miles (Saturday) as well as participate in parking lot “skill drills”.
The class will run on April 30 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 2 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. It is sponsored by MSAD # 11 (Gardiner) Adult Education. Registration fee is $15. To register, click here
