BCM Fat-Bike 101 Class
February 11 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Get outside and enjoy the snow on a fat bike this winter!
Join us for a two part workshop led by Bicycle Coalition of Maine instructors at Pineland Farms. Part one will be a virtual meeting (Feb 11 6pm-7pm) to go over basic information about fat-tire bikes, safety, and prep for your ride. You will learn everything you need to know before heading out for a guided fat bike adventure on the snowy trails. Part two (Feb 22 9am-11am), will be held in person with BCM instructors for a two-hour fat bike riding session through the trails of Pineland Farms.
Participants should already be confident riders of narrow trails to participate. You will need to supply your own winter clothing, footwear, and helmet. Bikes can be rented through Pineland Farms.
