The Bicycle Coalition of Maine (BCM) is excited about the growing the use of e-bikes for transportation and recreation, as they can replace cars for many trips, and drive increased investment in active transportation infrastructure. They are also enormously fun!
Join us at Sustainable Scarborough Day, and see why we’re excited about e-bikes as a fun, eco-friendly form of active transportation! We’ll show you how to use them, review safety instructions and send you off to feel the power for yourself. For anyone 18+ or 16+ with a parent or guardian.
Celebrate being green in your community! The Town of Scarborough is hosting its second annual Sustainable Scarborough Day, bringing together everyone from the environmentally conscious to the eco-curious for a day of learning and fun.
Meet with experts, local businesses, nonprofits, and enthusiasts on topics ranging from sustainable living, efficient homes, transportation, landscapes, recreation, waste management, land conservation, and climate action.
All activities will be based at Wentworth School. Test drive an electric vehicle, listen to some live music, attend a workshop, do a fun, hands-on activity, learn from experts.
This is a family friendly event with activities for all ages!
