Alley Cat Bicycle Race

Welcome to Creative Cat, the sixth annual Portland Alley Cat Race! This year will include a twist on the concept of alley cat racing by moving the emphasis from the fastest to the most creative. Put on your beret and prepare yourself to create!

This years race will be on Sunday, August 25th. It starts at 12 noon in monument square in Portland, Maine.

An alley cat race is a free and family friendly bicycle race. At the start of the race, you will receive a list of places, or stops, to go to. At each stop, there will be a challenge of some kind. You can visit the stops in any order⁠—you choose the fastest and most efficient route. Bring a bicycle and a helmet. Friends and costumes optional.
