You Can Help

Donating to the Bicycle Coalition of Maine is a great way to help ensure better bicycling in our state. Your donation helps fund a variety of projects throughout the state. There are a number of options available--from making an immediate cash gift, to providing valuable goods and services, to including the BCM in your estate plans. Choose the method that works best for you:

Memberships / Gift Memberships

Everyone who rides a bike should join the BCM because we are working year round to improve conditions for biking on- and off-road. Think of a friend or family member who loves bicycling and would benefit from being a member (getting newsletters, calendars, e-mail updates and more). Give a gift that keeps on giving for health and fun! arrowMore

Tax-deductible Contributions

We are more than happy to help you lower your tax liability and what better way to do it than to donate to your favorite organization working to improve your favorite activity! We offer a variety of ways to make your gift, including our annual appeal, MaineShare & United Way donations, workplace matching gifts, honorariums & memorials, and planned giving. arrowMore

Yellow Jersey Club

Our major donor program strengthens support of the BCM's safety, education, and access mission and programs. Yellow Jersey Club members contribute at least $1,000 a year -- a wonderful and very generous show of support for a worthy organization that is making Maine a better place to bicycle. arrowMore

Sponsorships

Businesses, organizations, and groups can support a variety of special events and other BCM activities by becoming a sponsor. We honor companies that provide significant cash and/or in-kind support as official BCM corporate sponsors. arrowMore

Volunteering

The success of the BCM's programs depends on the generosity and expertise of volunteers. arrowMore

Spread the Word

Word of mouth endorsements from members are always the best tool for finding new members -- please talk about the BCM with your friends and family and encourage them to join.

In-Kind Donations

The BCM is always on the lookout for equipment or services that can help advance our mission. Check out our wish list to see items for which we have an immediate need. arrowMore
