Selling A Bike at the Swap

Bike Swap Status Checker
Sellers: click here to check the status of your bike sale

Bring your bike to the Great Maine Bike Swap in Portland or Orono between 8 and 10 a.m. on the morning of the swap. We’ll ask you to fill out a form with your contact information, the type of bike and your price. Experts will be on hand to help with pricing.

The registration fee is $3 per bike, whether it sells or not. That fee also covers one admission to the swap. A 15 percent commission on the price of all bikes sold goes to the Bicycle Coalition of Maine's safety and education programs.

Checks for bikes sold will be mailed promptly. If a bicycle does not sell, you may pick it up at the end of the swap or donate it to a local community bike repair group.
